In February, Microsoft announced that the Windows Phone ecosystem will be supported by mobile phone manufacturers from India and China, one of Lenovo. Lenovo promises homemade phones based on Windows Phone will be released before the end of 2014.

President of Lenovo Mobile Products Division, Lui jun, said that the phone will run the latest Windows Phone operating system, which is version 8.1.

As quoted from the site MobileGeeks German technology, Lenovo will likely get into the mid-market segment, by making cell phone screen size 4.5 inches and 5 inches using Qualcomm Snapdragon processor 400.

Lenovo Support for Windows Phone will make Microsoft happy, because Lenovo is known as an aggressive new player in the smart phone business. Lenovo Mobile is also popular in the Chinese market which incidentally is an important market for Microsoft.

During the Windows mobile phone is dominated by the Nokia brand. Manufacturers who previously supported Windows Phone, including Samsung and HTC, has yet again launched the latest mobile phones based on Windows Phone. Both focus on developing Android phones.

Meanwhile, Lenovo is trying to strengthen its smartphone business with the acquisition of Motorola Mobility by Google. The China -based company needs to raise 2.91 billion U.S. dollars ( about USD 35 billion ) to acquire Motorola, but is still awaiting approval from regulators each country.

Product and brand Lenovo Motorola will be used to compete in the markets of developed countries, including the United States, which is Motorola's country of origin.
