Apple Has Officially Bought "Headphones" Producers, Beats

Apple finally confirmed plans to acquire audio device manufacturers Beats Electronics of 3 billion U.S. dollars, Wednesday ( 05/28/2014 ). This is the largest acquisition in the history of Apple bought the company.

According to the agreement, Apple will buy the Beats with details of 2.6 billion dollars in cash and 400 million shares.

The acquisition is still awaiting approval from regulators in the United States, and is scheduled to be completed by the end of 2014.

Apple CEO Tim Cook believes, Beats audio device will be used as a complement to Apple products in the future. He also welcomed the two founders of Beats, Jimmy Iovine and Dr.. Dre immediately joined Apple.

" They will come with a feature that kicked off your mind, " Cook said as quoted by The New York Times.

For him, music is an important part of human life and have a special place in the history of Apple. The acquisition is going to strengthen the team at Apple's music so as to create innovations in the future.

Cook acknowledged that Apple could have made the product class or the Beats headphone Beats Music subscription music service. However, the coveted Apple in the acquisition of human resources is " creative " as Iovine and Dre.

" The bottom line is that Jimmy and Dre have built something phenomenal., And they have phenomenal skills, " he told Recode. Cook was assured there are plenty of things you can do and Beats Apple in the future.

Beats audio devices and Beats Music service will be under the care of Apple. However, Apple and Beats will remain two separate trademarks, including iTunes Radio and Beats Music that will compete.

Beats by Apple's purchase of the news first broke on May 8, 2014. Upon completion of this acquisition, Iovine will leave his position as CEO of Interscope music label, where he has served for 25 years.

In 2011, the stock was purchased Beats Audio by as much as 50.1 percent of smart phone manufacturer HTC from Taiwan valued at 300 million U.S. dollars. The two companies collaborated apply audio products on the HTC Android phone models.

However, the partnership failed to produce significant added value to the September 2013 and the HTC Beats resell all shares owned.
